hi guys,
i`ve just aquired a CD930 and found it to sound superb. i`m just curious. what is the greatest weakness of the 930? its power supply, the DAC?
whats worth modding? i`m intending to change most of the caps.
is the DAC worth keeping around or should i dump it for a 8X1543 direct from the I2S bus?

| so would tapping the I2S off before the 1543 solve half of the problem? |
