I have Quicksilver KT88 monoblocks and can purchase a pair of Topaz 3.7 amp isolation trannies for quite cheap. Would 3.7 amps suffice for one monoblck or is it going to be too compressed sounding? Any ideas?

Thanks

I can't imagine those monoblocks (or any tube amps) drawing more than a total of 500~600mA of current, 3.7A seems plently to me.

Aren't you forgetting something? Heaters perhaps? :)

Cheers,;)
