Hi all, I was wonderin if you could wind an iron dust toroid transformer to make an smps for a car amp. I have a core that's grey in colour and it doesn't seem to work. I have a toroid from a kenwood car amp that works although they are both the same size and have the same number of turns.
Any ideas???
