Should I have a slab of concrete under it or on top of it . someone suggested spikes

The floor is made of wood with carpet on it .

What effect will this have on the sub if any thanks

I have the same setup (carpeted wooden floor), and I have mine just sitting on the carpet, but my enclosure has 2 opposing drivers, so it doesn't move anyway.

Are you troubleshooting something bad, like buzzing, sub walking, or boominess? Or are you asking about the "best" technique?

The wooden feet sitting on a carpeted wooden floor is just fine unless you have some other issue.
