The amps from PartsExpress give specs for bass boost comprising both dB and Q. The Q values are typically in the range 1.5 to 1.7. So what I'm wondering is how to combine the SPL graph for the the sub with the boost and get a picture of the combined response.
Any hints?

You can use Bullocks old DOS boxmodel programs to do this.
Search for "Bullock DOS Boxmodel"
Main caveat, Excursion is RMS rather than peak, so must be multiplied by ~1.4 to compare to other programs. Other than that, these programs are still state of the art ;) |
