Paralelling transformers - Click HERE for Original Thread

Can anyone explain to me how can I paralell two toroid transformers? Let's say I have 20 power MOSFETs, should I use half for one transformer and the other half for the other transformer or should I use all of them for both :xeye:

your probably better of stacking the cores. Just place one core on top of the other and wind away. From memory you need to halve the amount of primary turns as oposed to one torroid on its own.

So what you're saying is to paralell the inputs and outputs of the two transformers?
Tensop
no, that's what you are saying :)
what he's saying is to stack 2 toroidal cores on top of each other, so they are magneticly coupled, then wind as per normal. your toiroid height will be twice the size and the coupling should be perfect

Ok, I understand now. 10x for the tip
