does anyone know how to force a higher resolution on a 640x480 screen, i took a screen shot at 1028x768 and displayed it on this 640x480 lcd monitor i got and it looks pretty good, but if i just turn the res up it goes horrible and un-readable, so does anyone know of some software that sqishes and squashes it to make it appear to be 1028x768??

If the max resolution of the panel is 640x480... thats all your gonna get. The panel wasn't built to display anything higher. No software in the world is going to help.
