| A friend of mine gave me this pot to use with my NIGC (which is under construction). First off, is 100k going to be OK as far as the gain is concerned? Second, I know to run the input to one of the outside pins and then use the middle (wiper) pin for the output. My question is, do I run the signal ground to the remaining pin? Or do I run the signal ground to the PCB directly (I am using Brian's PCB kit)? Thanks! |

You can either-
1- run the remaining pin to signal ground (and you also need to run the RCA input ground there also or
2- you can tie the two together before signal ground on the board and run a single wire to the board.
I chose option 1 with mine and it works fine. |

| Actually 100k is a good choice with sensitive speakers (>90db). Also be careful wich end you use, you don't want to be turning counterclockwise for louder sound. |
