Need help choosing a amp - Click HERE for Original Thread

Greetings all im new to the board nice place ya got here.

Im on kinda a buget here of no more than probably 300 bucks. What i have is 2 Phoenix Gold Tiatinum 12d's.
What i would like to have is 1000watts RMS at either 4 or 1 ohm. Max of 1700watts. The Phoenix Gold amp is perfect but not within my budget. So here i am with some kick butt subs and no amp.

I have looked at the power acoustik gothic series 1600x1 and everyone says they are under powered but like i said buget doesn't allow for the JBL 1201.1 or anything like that. An suggestions on cheaper amps that would work for my setup. It doesn't have to be 1000watts RMS i think i would even settle for 800watts RMS x1 at 1 or 4 ohm.

Thanks,
Dysturbed

Are you interested in making one?

You can find the JBL 1200.1 for about $260 if you look.

Or you can buy a Power Acoustic, Legacy, Pyle, or Pyramid and pretend it's 1000 watts because that's what the sticker says.

Your choice.

Rods website would be the best, has power supply and also amp designs available.
