| I just got a Kenwood KDC-X679, and installed it. The radio part of it works fine. I am having problems with the cd player though. I put the disk in, the cd player recognizes that there is a disk, I can scroll through all the songs, it plays the songs, but I get no sound, nothing at all. Anybody ever have this problem? |

| If you are getting sound using the radio but not the cd, try using a cd that is not a cdr or cdrw.If that dont work than it might need to be realigned. |

| I actually called kenwood. It turns out there is a special wire to run the cd player part of the head unit and I did not attach it. |
