Hi! I wamt to learn how to make the crooked vinyl records
flat.
GRollins
David,
There is only one way that I've ever heard of, and that's to take two pieces of plate glass, *absolutely clean*, and place the record between them with a small amount of weight on top--something like a book. Subject this to low heat. I've heard of people using an oven on the lowest heat setting, but as that's about 200 degrees F, I'd think that was too high. Consider turning on the light inside the oven, which should heat the oven to something on the order of 110-120 degrees F by itself. Leave the record for at least an hour or two, preferably overnight. Allow to cool slowly with the weight still on it.
People report varying degrees of success with this. I suspect that it will vary with the vinyl formulation.
Good luck.

The same as GRollins posted - or you can leave the record on direct sun for some time.
