Hey guys, would you be kind enough to criticize a proposed design? Check out the thread below.
The design is in message #8. By the way, I used 4.5 for BL, and 16*pi cm^2 for the effective cone area.

Looking at the plot, assuming that the input parameters are correct, something is very wrong here. My gut feeling without running sims is that the pipe is way to big for the driver. It is also way over stuffed, as can be seen by the gradual fall-off at the low end. But, it needs the stuffing to smooth out the higher harmonics, and it's not doing that well.

I don't like small drivers in pipes. There is too much temptation to make the driver go too low. The FE107E is a mid-tweet, not a mid-bass. It deserves to be used as such in a horn or OB, or even a sealed box, but not in a pipe.

Just my opinion. Sorry.
