I've been looking for something like this - and nice article link for theanalogdept.com as well - a double bonus post!

Now I need to knock some of the other pending projects out of the way so I can build one of these for my Empire 208.

I'd love to try this design out for my Garrard 401. Alas I currently am not experienced enough to attempt building this design 100% from scratch... working out the layout from the circuit diagram :-(

If anyone has already designed a circuit board for this project, or even has an appropriate layout of parts for a 18-way tag board(s) I'd love to see them!
