I own the Hegeman Hapi2 preamp, and was wondering if any other tube owners are using this preamp? Are there any upgrades to do to it? I am new to tube amps... I own: dbx5 CD player - Hapi2 Preamp - ASL Wave 8's - Jensen Model 20 Bookshelf Speakers. I am very happy with the sound of the system - the speakers seem to do v/well with the 8-10w the Wave 8's feed it. Would it be possible to exchange the 8" speakers with the more sensitive all-paper Jensen 8"-ers?
