Heya blackie, you can ask what you want in here as manny times as you like.
Try to see what the output of the dvd player is, by this i mean is it pal, ntsc, secam ect...
The set your panel to the apropiate format, it sounds to me your trying to run pal with the panel set to ntsc.

heya buddy, you should be able to run it dirrect by just changing the format on either the panel or the dvd player, just make sure they match or are the same, it should work no probs. Might save you some cash.
Btw, you got a bargain on that panel lol

.. you say it is a Nview Viewframe Spectra and your using composite... but that panel only has VGA input?!?! (i had the same panel) are you sure you have that panel? |

hmm maybe some later version of the panel then i had.
btw maybe you should check your dvd player settings.
sometimes you can choose between different video output settings, like PAL or NTSC. switch between them and look if one may work correctly (i wouldnt know which one :)) |

Hi guys,
I have been lurking around these forums and am intersted in building a OHP system. MY question is what is the best LCD to put on the OHP and also, is there away I can get component video on to the LCD and use a dvd player to play the movie? Instead of a computer?
I tried searching for component LCDs but didn't find anything. Also any sites with the basics of retrofitting MH in OHP?
Thanks (be gentle newbie at hand):D |
