maybe someone can help me

I have a Sharp Notevision
PG-M20X, it has a Manual Zoom Lens
Fujinon developed this 1.2:1 manual zoom/focus lens
and 1900 ANSI

I live in a small apartment, and only have about a 10 foot throw.
My lens maxes out at about 52"H X 69"W in the 4:3 aspect ratio

My friend has the same setup, but he also has something I dont, its called cash! to buy the $2000 anamhorphic lens. It is incredible and inspiring

I want to know if anyone can recomend a attachment lens that will give me a bigger picture (bigger than 52" X 69"W in 4:3) than I currently have.

4:3 is totally fine to me, until I can afford a isco-optic anamhorphic 16:9 lens.

I am looking for a cheap solution to get a little bigger picture
the diameter of my lens is about 2"

I can make my own attachment mount

I just need help finding a cheap lens

any ideas?

I want to increase my output size....

what should I experiment with
a fresnel lens?
a enlarger lens?
a close up lens?
where should I begin?

there must be an alternative diy to paying 2thousand for a imported wide angle lens

thanks for any help

The cheapest way would be to just mount the projector vertically and use a mirror to increase the distance between the lens and screen.

Or you can use an add-on or replacement lens.
