I've been looking for plans for a DIY audio stand. I posted earlier:

I am very much interested in the "X" design of the flex-stand. However, i have read a lot about vibration feet, such as the ones from BrightStar Audio. Am i better off with the "X" design without the feet or a regular "square" design with absorption feet?

No reason you can't do both. I recall that TNT Audio suggested using pumice blocks under the feet of the flexy table.
One thing to consider with the X design is that you probably lose some of the damping qualities of the regular flexy table design, as there's less surface area to apply damping material to. |
