I finally found the heatsink to support this project, so I'm also interested in one stereo pair of boards. Will gladly pay scalper pricing.

I would contact hifiZen for any Aleph-X boards. I believe he built some surplus into the last group buy. Here's the thread:
New Aleph-X PCB group order...

Received a reply from Chad about this which stated that they were all gone and would <probably> be no more next year.

Hallo everybody,

I also tried twice until now procuring from your possible surplus - visibly no chance...
Supposing this situation will last for ever, please point a working link for the Rel.1.0 drawings. To try at least with a knife/router (the high tech methods have no access to me...) diy-ing the PCBs.

Do I (we?) have any chance or our hopes died with the last hifizen's answer?

Laci

I have 2 spare boards from last year's group buy and might trade them for interesting components.

Contact me if interested.

Cheers

Is the pcb layout available seeing as there are no more boards left? I am happy to organise another run possibly?

Cheers

I am in Melbourne and would be happy to join you in another fab run. If Chad would allow us to organise another run from the same fab plant it might be the easiest way. I would be up for about 10 boards.I dont think he wants to let go of the files which is fair enough, but by using the same place we know exactly what we're getting and we dont need access to the files :)

Who do I need to speak to, to get the ball rolling?

hifiZen (Chad) is the person who has the Aleph-X pcb files and organized the board fabbing. If he doesnt allow another run, it might be worth someone with a board scanning both sides and emailing the image. From there, with some photoshopping, a print out of the artwork could be made from which to photo-etch some boards at home?
mrgtir
Hmm don't like that idea as I am sure those guys have put a fair bit of work into it.

I have been told that people are well aware of the requests for more boards. We will be notified when orders can be placed. No time has been specified as yet.

Cheers
Matt
