I've build a 1 in 4 distribution amp with TL084 , but my scheme seems to be wrong , because I have problems when I turn it on. here is the scheme :
but I have strange problems , actially only one:
just one op.amp TL084 repeats the audio signal just fine. but when I put another for the another channel I become a mono effect(the balance control doesn't work) and strenge mixing and losing some high or low frequences.
Actually I just need to split the signal from my soundcard into 5.
Can someone help me!
Thank You! |

I must say, this is much more complex than it need be... But let's concentrate on making it work in present form:
Where does the braid (outer) of the input cable connect to? |

sooo... You are right. it's too complicated.
I found this one here:
Would it work fine with 470R or 1K is better for pc soundcard.
PS:forget the other scheme, as I suspected it's toooooo complicated and there is no sence to make it like that |

Remember that the input and output cable shields should connect to 0v.
A bipolar power supply (+ & -) is necessary, but the supply ripple will be largely cancelled out by the opamps when run this way. |

| Do I need some condensators (C) in this scheme? |

| Are You sure that I have to connect the audio 0 to the power supply 0? |

| I've made it:). In my scheme the 470 ohms resistors are replaced by 220 ohms, it's all fine and the audio 0 is conected with the supply 0 by 1K resistor. |
