Grrr..I have been trying to construct little cap/reg Assemblies using
reg113s the size of grains of rice:bawling: :bawling:  .

At first I thought, yeah this will be fine..just bend the legs a little and presto!:D ....but oooh no..Snap! one gone.
Try again ...Snap another gone...:bawling: .
OK I am sure I can fit these without bending .
Success!!
Made 4 .
Fifth one measures well under voltage.
I am now worried all the devices have had their performance
degraded in sneaky unseen ways:bigeyes: .

Sot Package not used in intended way =:bawling: :bawling:.

Feeling gloomy now..all the fun of diy sucked out.... want to throw
all the components away and take up something nice:cloud9: .

I think it is time for:drink: :drink: :drink:

Hi 5th element
I hope your sanity was not tested tooo far:( .
What is a PCM2902?..not to expensive I hope:eek:

I have managed to cobble together enough reg units for my needs, but being so small and sensitive to heat ,i am now paranoid about them.[dunno whether to use them now]

I have been looking at some bigger alternative ldo regs in the form of LT1963s , seem nice and BIG..

Of course in the good ol UK finding them [in less than 5000 quantities] should be fun:rolleyes:

OH why OH why, does nobody stock the bits.......

Still I have had me :drink: and feel a bit better now:cheerful: .

Have a good weekend.
