TDA 7293 clip detector - how ??? - Click HERE for Original Thread
Cro maniac
I want to put clipping detector on my paralelled TDA 7293 (not finished), and don't know how. I saw in the datasheet that resistor should be pulled from pin5 to 5V, but I don't know where to put LED ?

BTW, should inputs of slave chip be pulled to -Vs or to GND ? Does it matter ?

Thank You !!!

I want to do same, and very interesting, no info or schematic example about clip detector of 7293. I will try something very soon, I will drive the led with transistor because I'm not sure about the current and the level of pin 5. Look at my plan:

my plan to use clip detector

but I did not tried or tested yet. If you have free time to test it please write how it works.

Here is pic about the part of pcb with clip detector:

I will test it in this week or weekend.
