I'm trying to upgrade the clock unit of my car CD-changer . It is Nakamichi CDC-101 (old SONY OEM 10 disc changer aka. 1990). The crystal is connectd to IC labeld as "Sony D1316". So i removed the crystal and connected the output of new oscillator to one of the crystal's leg. However, the unit fails to work even I changed the connection to another leg of the crystal.
I'm wondering I need to do more than simply replacing this way. If anyone knows this IC, I'd appreciate the info.
