I went to the eurockeennes at Belfort the last 2 years. Now I'm looking what's planned on the various festivals across Europe. I'll certainly go to one or two.
Maybe I'll see others DIYers there :) who knows...
The eurockeennes has a nice progeam this year, but so has the werchter, rock am ring, rock in rio and even more...
And something I wasn't aware of: The Pixies are back!! And will have many dates in Europe this summer. That's good news!!!
Guns n Roses are also back, if they still can be called so.
I think I'll put the bottle of champagne out of the fridge :D |

Certainly I will go to Roskilde as usual. Píxies plays there too this year. But so far the program has not impressed. It was way better last year.... and in 2002 and 2001... :cannotbe:

Summer in the Montréal area is only music shows...
Froms african culture week, to the famous Montréal Jazz festival, passing by les francophonies and tons of cultural evenements.
Can't even count them all.... But the main one is the jazz festival which is a sin to miss. |

| The usual stuff. The Bay Area Spacegrass Mafia puts on a variety of combination outdoor festivals over the summer. Tony Rice, Peter Rowan, David Grisman, Laurie Lewis, and the like thrown together in various pairings. |

Just packing up for the Canmore folk festival this weekend. Not a bad lineup this year (see here ) and the location is always great.

Even as I type this, I'm at Cambridge Folk Festival. They have an Internet Cafe on site- very civilised! Very hot too, and it's not a dry heat...

I'll be going to the Marciac jazz fest, in the Gers departement (south west) of France. Great festival, attracts some superb performers.
