Problems with my DAC (CS8412) - Click HERE for Original Thread
meat
I am trying to build a DAC from this schematic and I am not getting a signal from pin 26 (data out) I am also getting a high error flag on pin 25. I connected it in I2S mode like the site says, but something is not happy. I don't think the chip is bad, because it was barely working before I put it in the I2S mode. My guess is that something is connected wrong.

I have:

Pin 26 to Pin 3 of the TDA1543
Pin 24 to +5V
Pin 23 to GND
Pin 22 to +5V
Pin 21 to 1K resistor and - 47uf cap
Pin 20 to .047uf cap
Pin 18 to GND
Pin 17 to GND
Pin 13 to GND
Pin 12 to Pin 1 of TDA1543
Pin 11 to Pin 2 of TDA1543
Pin 10 to .01uf cap
Pin 9 to .01uf cap
Pin 8 to GND
Pin 7 to +5V

Any help would be appreciated

Check out the configuration again.
Be sure, that from pin20 47nF and 1k resistor in series, and connected to the pin21, not to star GND.

47uF between pin22 and pin21
47uF between pin7 and pin8

Otherwise seems to be ok.
Check solder joints also...

Yeah, I checked and it is correct. I am getting data on pins 11 and 12, just not pin 26. I am probably not getting a signal lock, hence the error flag on pin 25.

I got it working, the vector board is kind of lame and one of my pads was lifted.

Nice to hear, it is working.
