Help selecting cable for a custom VGA cable - Click HERE for Original Thread
SilentBob
Ok, here is the problem. I have a Philips FTR9955 E-Box receiver for my plasma monitor.

It connects to the monitor by a custom VGA cable. It is custom because I have tested the pin-out and it is different from a standard VGA cable. If I use a standard VGA cable to hook it up, it doesn't recognize the E-box receiver, so it MUST be hooked up with a matching cable.

Here is what I need:
A 50' cable
Male connectors on each end
Pin 9 MUST be in place and connected to the other Pin 9
All connections are straight through connections.
The wiring would be:
Common Ground (Pins 5,6,7,8,10)
1->1
2->2
3->3
4->4
9->9
11->11
12->12
13->13
14->14
15->15

So the question becomes what type of cable should I use for this project?

Any thoughts, lemme know.

Thanks.
