noise generated by gasburner - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have a problem at home. We have a gasburner that heats the water for the central heating system. Whenever it starts heating, it generates a short burst of noise that can be heard on the radio and also be seen on tv.

any ideas how I can get rid of this? some kind of simple filter I can make for it?

Its the ignition. If its sporting a regular sparkplug, get yourself some shielded ignition cable and a shielded sparkplug cap.

You might consider a faraday cage for the water heater. It sounds like an awful lot of trouble though.
