How is it compare with the S1? I am thinking to make a DAC using TDA1541, if the S2 is a real one, i think its a good idea to try it. Leo Yeah, Peter, please do a test, plug the plain vanilla A, the S1 and the S2 in a socket and let us know how it sounds. Peter Daniel I did that too and here are my observations: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/show...&threadid=20260 To me S1 sounds closer to regualr version and S2 (which is a real deal from elib) sounds more different (and I'd say better). tschrama just in case anybody had anydoubt.. I also redeived my chips from Elib, and bought the S1 version myself from Philips Eindhoven (I hot the last 17 NOS pieces from Philips Eindhoven..).. all sound pretty much alike too me....
