Cohen is probably a good song writer. But great vocalist??? He's not even better than Bob Dylan! His voice is dry and monotonic. Mark Knoppfler is definitely better :D |

Unfortunately my favourite singer died in seventies of passed century. He sings so emotionally with great and rich voice, glorifying the power of love and faith.
I think that even a flight timetable, as a lyrics, performed by Donny Hathaway would not be boring.
The second is Jacques Brel, especially performing "L'homme de la Mancha" (Man of La Mancha) and songs "Ne me quitte pas", "L'Amsterdam". |

Inva Mula Tchako! diva dance extraordinaire! any idea what other stuff she has acutally done. Im sure I could google this and find out myself, but have you got any recommendations of her work which is particularly good?

I have heard denyse graves sing a few songs from carmen and i enjoyed every minute so maybe next time i put thru an amazon order Ill get that one too, along lol with Anastacias latest concoction. |

Unfortunately not ! She has the role of "Micaela". The part of Carmen is sung by Angela Gheorghiu (the lady on the cover). Angela's got some bad reviews for this one because people prefer mezzo sopranos for this role. Because Inva Mula is also a soprano like Angela Gheorghiu she might possibly refrain from ever recording this role.
