Here's a new one with the stepped attenuator bought from EBay and referenced in this thread:

The design is based on the basic schematic on the ChipAmp forum. So far, it sounds excellent! The stepped attenuator works well with no pops between steps (a concern on the thread for these switches linked above). My rail voltages are high at +/- 45VDC but the heatsinks are staying cool to the touch.

Could you post a close up of the attenuator that shows the resistor attachments? Also, 4 channel gainclone? Why 4 decks?
