Aleph-4 Power Supply needs help - Click HERE for Original Thread

Dear experts,

I've started to build a new PSU for my Aleph-4 using full bridge curcuit using the below components for each channel:

2 x 0-38V (600VA)
2 x KBPC04-35

Voltage measured at Xformer output is 40V (input approx. 230) which should be OK.

Voltage measured at the each KBPC04-35 output is 36V (not yet been connected to any C). Which is not supposed to be this low.

It happens to both channels and at every KBPC output, testing with one AC power source (220V) feeding in to small cable.

I have no idea how this happens especially with no load at all.

Please advice...

Until you smooth it with the PSU caps you're going to read ~RMS as your DC reading.
