Zen V4 heatsink and enclosure question - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hello,

Have somm questions on heatsink and enclosure/chassis for Zen V4:

1. I have checked par-metal website and looks like they have some nice amplifier enclosure. Right now, what I have in mind is, make a small rectangular cutout on the side panels, then I can bolt the heatsink onto the side panel, and then bolt the MOSFET onto the heatsink.

alternatively, I can get rid of the left and right panels and bolt-on the top, bottom, front, back panel onto the heatsink. Not sure if this is difficult to do.

I found that integrating the heatsink and enclosure is not straightaway. I am wondering where does Classe Audio, Rotel (and othermanufacturers) got a nice chassis that is integrated with the heatsinks.

If I would like to mount my heatsinks on the left and right panel, does anyone has a better recommendation on how to do this?

2. Any recommendation on where to buy heatsinks and enclosure?

Thanks
MikeW
You are better off finding the heatsinks that will give you a 25 degrees rise and building a enclosure around it. The V4 will need some good size heatsinks.:hot:
