I have narrowed the choice down to either the Osborn T12 Subwoofer: http://www.osbornloudspeakers.com.au/files/t12.html or the PHT "Portsea" ULTIMATE 12" XLS PLUS PASSIVE DRIVER: http://www.penhometheatre.com.au/speakersystems.htm Has anyone heard either of these subwoofers or could tell me which one they think is the better choice their both $1200. Bill Fitzpatrick Osborn - $1200 for a 12" woofer and a box???????? Dustin Haug $145 for the Peerless XLS at Parts Express. Add a plate amp for ~$200 and maybe $150 for building the box and you've got pretty much the same thing for less than half of that. NicolasGaal I buy Diy speaker kits but I dont have the skills or equipment to purchase components and make up kits myself.
