I wish to build a preamplifier and have chosen the Bosoz or the AKSA GK1M projects. Can anyone help me on this choice? The GK1M uses a valve at the output stage and some say it is more sweet and melodic. Has anyone built the GK1M?
Thank you

Hi George,
can you give us a link to the schematics or is it a kit or something?
Cheers

George,
Thank you for your post; don't know about the 'light', but I appreciate your comment!

Hugh, I know you may have had difficulties with your
intellectual property in the past, but I also know that the
people on the forum would be very interested in the
schematic. |

I have not heard the tube Pre-amp mentioned above, but the BOSOZ is warm and romantic. To many folks the BOSOZ pre-amp and Aleph Amps have that tube warmth, without the finickiness and maintenance of tubes.
In my opinion, the BOSOZ sounds like "solid state" tubes. All the benefits of solid state and sonic merits of tubes, without the downside of tubes.
