New to this forum , but have done some mods to stereo equipment. rebuilt my old Marantz 2238, a couple of cheap cd players, built buffers, etc. Have had some amazing results with upgraded parts...better caps, resistors, diodes, etc. Built a nice pair of 2 way speakers using Meniscus drivers...8" & tweeter in
1-1/2" thick double ply particle board - monsters! they weigh in at 90 lbs each! But they do sound nice.

I have played guitar for many years and am a vintage rack equipment kind of guy. Have used ADA MP1 for years and picked up a broken ADA MP2 recently on E-BAY. Now I am going to rebuild it with Vishay/Dale resistors, better caps, MUR diodes, etc.I need dome help in deciding which op amps to upgrade to. I have done well in the digital world of cd players, using BB, AD, & LT brands. But most of the work I have done has been in digital. Now I have a combination analog/digital unit. any suggestions? I have schematics & parts list.

MP2OLD,

Welcome to the forum. As you have probably already seen, there's a wealth of information here. I assume you've asked your question in in one of the other forum. It's a great place to branch out to other areas where you may not feel so comfortable.

Enjoy,
