Hi all,
I'm just about to go and buy some parts for the DOZ.
Well, what kind of wattage should I choose for R5, R8 and R10? 5W or 10W as of mr Elliott's schematics?

Standard 0.6W metal films will be fine for R5 and R8. R10 should be rated somewhat higher (3W to 5W is usual) to prevent burn out if the amp oscillates.

you can use 0,25w for R5 and R8 too.

Just noticed this thread. Did you ever finish the DoZ Amp? I've been listening to my recently finished DoZ and am really enthusiastic & impressed with this amp. Have made three now, a prototype that I learned a lot from with experimenting, a Headphone version and now a final Proj 36. Be happy to answer any questions if you have them. |
