I'm having trouble finding specs for this panel. I've looked everwhere and haven't come up with anything. I also searched this forum and didn't come up with anything.
If anyone has the specs, I would appreciate it. |

I just aquired the specs from a tech support person at InFocus.
I usually consult the panel database at members.cox.net/rolm but there was no info for that panel.
I believe the person that maintains the members.cox.net/rolm site is a user of this forum, so incase that user would like to update the database with the info, here it is:
InFocus 640fx
640x480, passive matrix, 64 colors (that's what the tech support guy said, I don't know what bit 64 colors would be). |

| 2*2*2*2*2*2=64 so 2^6=6 bit color |

it could be 64 thousand colours
ie. 16bit
2^16 = 65536 |

| edit: I've been told they can have up to 4913 colours, and 64 colours is for "business mode" or something. Suffice to say that that many colours *should* be ok for dvd/video playback, but if i were you i'd want to see it in action before purchase. |

| if it is a passive matrix panel , as you say, you can forget it. There will be enormous amounts of ghosting,so video won't work. This panel is worth virtually nothing if it is a passive one. |
