you need to say where you have it from, focal length, diameter, and anything else that may be printed on the lens it self |

Cinema scope w/ optical sound usually was shot with an aspect ratio of 2.55:1.
16x9 video is closer to 1.85:1
4x3 video is something like 1.33:1
If you can find a way of getting the lens into the optical path, chances are it would make everything too short and too fat.
There were typically two flavors of these lenses, some threaded on over the normal projection lens, others were used as replacements for the normal projection lens.
With a 1-inch thread diameter it sounds like your lens is for use with a 16mm projector. |
