Analogue standalone projector?? - Click HERE for Original Thread
spawn
Hi,

I'm a newbie and have searched the forums and I have a pretty good idea of the concepts - but there is one thing that still puzzles me:

I live in South Africa and have never seen these LCD panels that everyone talks about...perhaps they are not widely available here. My question is - Do these panels have analogue inputs and if not, how does one achieve analogue input such as that from an RCA cable?

Many of the forum members seem to be using their PCs with VGA (digital) inputs into these panels....but what if you want a stand-alone projector capable of s-video or RCA analogue input directly from a DVD player? I would hate for my TV to have to run Windows!!!

If needs be I could order a panel from the US or the UK, but I would want something that supports analogue input....any help or explanations would be appreciated.

tx in advance.
