Hi,
my name is James and I'm addicted to sound.
I'm a little diyer (...well I will be soon anyway) from England. Just a little scared of soldering myself to the mains :hot:
All the choices of what to build, what parts to use etc fry my brain.
I have read loads of stuff on this site and so I thought I would come out of the shadows and introduce myself.
I am looking to build a JLH single ended class A amp and probably some single driver speakers. I like the look of the jordan jx92s vtl design.
Any help, and I mean ANY help will be much appreciated!

Although I'm back to valves, I did once build the JLH amp you mention. It was one of the best ;) But that was too far back to mention... |

Any idea on the size heatsinks I'll need for the amp?
I'm gonna split it into two boxes. One for power one for amps.

does anyone know about the jx92s vtl? Konus audio make the Essence which is sold by the 47 labs guys seems to be an identicle design but Sakurastms from 47 labs (i think) says its a developed version.
any ideas?
