| Those are called "knife threaded inserts" for put reliable machine threads in wood and plastic. You can find an assortment at the high-end wood working shops and possible at in the speciality parts bins in some of the large hardware chain stores. |

I just ordered myself a whole lot of threaded inserts.
I finally have the hardware to match my Black Diamond Racing Pyramid Cones...
My life is now as close to perfect as can be...

I had similar problem a few months ago and just gave up looking, so I might as well ask. Does anyone know of a supplier in or to Australia that has 4 and 5 mm threaded inserts (or something similar like a t-nut)

| Probable should have mentioned that fastener supplier only go down to 6mm (because that is the smallest they use in furniture) and the hobby shops only stock imperial. |

Sure, any skateboard shop have 5mm t nuts, steel or aluminium according to your superstition :)
