Since the short outage on Saturday (Oz time) the server has not been sending out emails.
This means new users do not get their confirmation emails, and old users who change some things in their profile (ie email address) also do not get a confirmation email -- so i suggest not to change anything till things get sorted.
There is only one person with access at this level and he is not very available at the moment so everyone will have to be patient
Mail to the webmaster seem to be getting thru, so there are some manual fixes we can do.

| perhaps the thing where emails get send out when you recieve a reply to a thread you are subscribed too should be stopped... I can imagine that would put a fair load on the server..... |

If any new users (or old ones that changed their emails) don't get their confirmation emails, please mail the webmaster & we'll get it out manually.
