| Heard about this CD on PBS and saw it again when I was at borders last month. "Don't Give Up On ME" by Solomon Burke on Fat Possum records, a Great performance. A few friends of his provided some tunes for him to sing, Van Morrison, Joe Henry, Brian Wilson, Elvis Costello, Bod Dylan & Nick Lowe. On track 10 the Blind Boys of Alabama drop in for a sing along. I had always listening to the Steely Dan and Eric Clapton types but this was a very nice change. |
