:) I have purchased a lots of TDA7294 chips to build a 5.1 amplifiers system that works with my creative SBLive 5.1 sound card, however, I am haivng trouble in putting up a decent Subwoofer amplifier can anyone suggets a schematic forbuilding a subwoofer amplifier with the same, schematics mentioned in the data sheet of the chips doesn't seem to work good, theres lot of oscillation.
Please help.

Hi,
1. are ps caps close to the chip
2. use zobel at output (0,1uf + 5 ohm or so)

i had no problems with these chips.

This has been discussed many times before. Many people hv built this on this forum. I don't understand why u only is not able to get it?

Well Thanxs Palesha, but certainly u don't expect a person who knows the technology as SUBWOOFER, and 5.1 digital decoding wont have datasheet of the IC, what I wanted was to have a custom designed circuit (A bridge may be) with amplification capability not across 20 Hz to 20KHZ, but with an effective range of may be 40 hz to 400 HZ.

Subwoofer means it will normally cover from 20 or 30 hz to 100~150 hz depends upon the other speakers. U must first decide what speakers u r going to use for 5 channels? What will be their low frequency response & accordingly u hv to design subwoofer filter. Hope u understand this better than Mushrraf.
