Hiyee,
As above...but I would prefer a source in SIngapore...or at least a shipping to Singapore. Thanks in advance.

I get 0.25" wide copper tape from digikey (it's a 3M product). I'm pretty sure digikey will ship via air-mail to you, or you could call your local 3M rep there and see where to buy it.

www.digikey.com

The 3M part number for this tape is 1181 and it comes in 1", 1/2" and 1/4" widths. It also comes pre-tinned and that part number is 1183

I don't know if stained glass is a craft practised in Singapore but I can easily get copper tape with a VERY strong adhesive at any stained glass craft store here in Canada. You know the stained glass use to make Tiffany lamps or church windows, etc? In real stained glass work the glass is held together with a lead or tin leading (extrusion) with slots on either side for the glass to fit into. But for craftsy fake stained glass work for the hobbiest you can tape your glass fragments together with this super sticky copper tape and the solder over it to make it LOOK like leading. It is available in any number of widths and thicknesses. I use it for the conductors on homemade slotcar tracks.

hmmm...it's not a widely praticsed craft...but I'll look for stained-glass manufacturers and ask around. Even stained glass windows in churches are rare~!!! I figured RS and Farnell would be the best way for me...or I'll check out the local electronics and handi-craft stores. Tahnks for giving me another tip.

I bought a roll of .003" thick 12"x30" copper from a model/craft shop for about 15 euro. The supplier is at www.ksmetals.com

Sticks very well with a thin film of contact adhesive and seems cheaper than tape.:)

...which is about 2.5 Euro for adhesive copper stained glass tape.

I do not know if this is a cheapie copper tape but I have used this stuff to shield electronics from heat and interference. The brand name is Kapton Tape and it is made by DuPont. I am not sure if this helps but I found this address on their web site.
