Hello, I whant to build a video beamer with the 2,5" Screen from a old Sony DCR-PC3E Camcorder....
I allredy found Sony's Spec. Site and I would like to know if enybody knows how I can get my lcd connected to a pal video signal.
Is it possible to get a driver bord for my lcd or can I maybe use the one from the cam?
the displays product name is SONY ACX300BK

Actually I don' t know something about its board but;
I have looked the specs, 200:1 contrast ratio is really nice but response time and resolution is poor.
They says its resolution is 880 x 228... Actually many companys are using this method. The method is; " horizontal pixels x 3 " ( so its native horizontal res would be 293 pixels)
Especially, this method is using with small lcd panels. So company gives wrong information. But I' m not really sure, my theory could be wrong.
My humble advice is; get some confirmation about its native horizontal resolution before starting your project.. Because you can get a big disappointment if native res is 293 x 228.. |
