Dear All,
I am not overly conversant with this gainclone thing.
SO.
If i want to build one what is a good place to start?
Is there a simple diy project out there for a beginner (IDIOT WITH A SOLDERING IRON) to try?
Any help would be gratefully recd.
My corner horns are 105dbw so power is not a priority but sound quality is.
Thanks for providing my next hifi project .

| David, while you are over at Decibel Dungeon, you will find a lot more information there on topics such as soldering, which will help you get started. The 'Getting started' page is probably a good place to start. The Gainclone is an excellent first build! |

Even better first project:

CMoy headphone amp, built in an Altoids tin for as little as $20. Great parts help and step-by-step instruction.
If the GainClone is a little intimidating, try this first. Worked for me.
