Hi there!
Beta-Version of my OHP-beamer is complete now. What I am missing is the ability to get TV- or VCR-pictures to my beamer. So I want to connect my VCR to my TFT, which just has a normal VGA input.
Does anyone know a cheap way to convert VCR S-Video or Cinch input to VGA?
Thanks.

| Not sure what your definition of "cheap" is but I picked up a Viewsonic Nextvision N4 http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/show...&threadid=22820 for about $100 CAD. If you can find a cheap one with good quality go for it, but I figure its worth it as its one of the crucial pieces of the puzzle if you're planning to use analogue inputs often. N4 also has a TVtuner as well as svid etc - something you might be able to save money on if you don't need. |

thanks so far!
but with cheap I meant something less than EUR/$ 30 - 50.
Any ideas in that price range? |

Hi wenkman,
you're here in an american board, please note that a beamer means here video projector. That's better to understand for some people.
Please post results of your video-projector.

thanks!
just found another one at playdeluxe.de: "Universal VGA Box". Costs EUR 39, should also be working. I think of getting that one. Should be the most inexpensive way of connecting s-video to a tft... |

to send it back if you are not satisfied, I would be suspicious when reading the feedback of 2 out of 3 buyers......
