Hey guys,
Been awhile... hehe.
I need to make a double sided board. I'm using the MG Chemicals presensitized (or whatever) double sided board, and I don't quite know how to expose it. I've done a few single sided boards. Do I just expose one side, flip it over and expose the other?

It's tricky, but it can be done.
You should mark and drill a few holes, to act as references to align the top to the bottom. Also remember that since you can't really make plated-through holes like the pros do, you have to use solder a short piece of wire through any vias, and of course, solder all through-hole components to both sides of the board (where there is a solder pad on both sides).
You might consider some of the PCB shops, some of which will proto a board for around $20. Do a search in the forum. |

Wo that would be awesome, since the double sided board cost me about that. Also I noticed your in Ottawa like me, maybe you know somewhere local?

I don't know of any places in Ottawa that do cheap PCB prototypes.
If you search this forum, you can find several threads dealing with making and buying protoype PCBs, such as this one. |
