| Well, after some Ebay bidding, I now find myself the proud new owner of a Soundstream DAC-1 D/A Converter. I have heard that it was developed in conjunction with krell, but I can't find anything in krell's website on it... anyone know why? does anyone know anything about this DAC? I realize it probably wont he ultra-hi-fi because it was only $120, but i am afterall just using it for my computer speakers so it should be just fine. I can't find any specs or any other info on this unit though, please help out! I found a company called soundstream, but all they made was car audio equipment... i am very confused |

| it looks like it has a 20bit dac chip onboard, but the reciever is limited to 16 bit? hmmm... |
