Hi All,

another one from Melbourne.

My name is Stephen and I'm 37.

I'm in the process of building a Home Theatre based around
my pair of Kef 104/2 Speakers.

and I'd like to build a couple of Power amps to drive my new 7.1 setup.

regards,

Stephen.

Macka,

Thank you for your fulsome praise...... Now I can't walk through doors!

Graham,

In my short contact with you, regrettably not long enough, there's truth in what you say......

Time you came for another visit, my friend. There have been many developments!

Cheers,

Hi All,

thanks for the warm welcome.

now, on the the good stuff,

does anyone have protection circuits ie speaker & clipping circuits
that can be added to the N-channel aussie amp ?

I don't want my Kef's tweeters flying across the room.

regards,

Stephen.
SkinnyBoy
so.. I guess that means you didn't bring any girls... hmm..

Hi Skinny-boy,

I've got a wife, so I guess I brought her along (although she will never read any of this!)

sorry, you've got to get out and look for yourself!

I recommend polyswithes as a cheap and highly effective (provided you size them correctly) form of speaker protection.

Can't say what (if any) noticable sonic effects they have, certainly I didn't notice any, but maybe on better speakers than mine you could tell the difference.

check them out on the jaycar site.

regards,

Tony.
